I’m sure you’ve all heard of C\u00ceROC. If not, let me give you a little background info on the brand. It was founded in France by\u00a0Jean-Sebastien Robicquet.<\/a>\u00a0His distillery, Maison Villevert, has been in his family for over 500 years. In more recent years, Diddy aka\u00a0Sean Combs<\/em>\u00a0partnered with the brand and that’s how I first came across it. This would make sense, given that he heads up all lifestyle branding and marketing for the biz. If you’re interested to find out more I suggest reading his profile over on the site<\/a>, it gives you a little insight into his passion for building brands.<\/p>\n

Most vodkas are made from grain but C\u00ceROC is gluten-free and distilled from\u00a0French grapes.\u00a0It’s the French grapes and the fifth distillation<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>that\u00a0give C\u00ceROC its distinctive fresh citrus taste.<\/p>\n

In the C\u00ceROC collection there’s\u00a0C\u00ceROC\u2122 Ultra-Premium Vodka which is their classic bottle. It stands alongside flavours such as;\u00a0mango, peach, apple, coconut, pineapple, red berry and amaretto.\u00a0This year they’ve launched their very first limited edition vodka. The\u00a0latest addition to the line-up is Summer Colada<\/a>. If from this post you like the sound of it then make sure you move swiftly and grab a bottle because it’s limited edition and I haven’t seen it in many shops. Luckily, my pals over at 31Dover<\/a> have the full Ciroc collection and offered to send me a bottled of the limited edition Summer Colada to try out.<\/p>\n

\"Pineapple\"<\/a><\/p>\n

So, let me tell you a little about\u00a0C\u00ceROC Summer Colada. I had very high hopes for this drink not only because of all the hype surrounding it, but because I’m a big Pina Colada fan and let me tell you, it did not\u00a0<\/em>disappoint.<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

When you open up the bottle it has a lovely sweet and summery scent. Think fresh juicy pineapples and sweet creamy coconut. It instantly takes you to the beach.<\/p>\n

The vodka is infused with a blend of coconut and pineapple. I’ve never enjoyed vodka on the rocks but with this one, it’s a totally different story.\u00a0It’s a very smooth vodka which goes down easily, a little too easily! It has a lovely sweet and tropical taste but it’s not at all sickly.<\/p>\n

As you can probably tell, C\u00ceROC bottles are super sleek and feel very luxurious. They also\u00a0look fab sitting on your shelf or if you’re lucky,\u00a0a cute drinks trolly<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So,\u00a0how should you drink Summer Colada?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You should start by trying it on the rocks. As I mentioned before, it works perfectly and it’s nice to try such a smooth vodka if you haven’t before. However, I personally like a longer drink,\u00a0especially during the summer months and let’s be honest, that is exactly what this vodka has been created\u00a0for.<\/p>\n

You can simply top it up with tonic water to have a super simple drink for summer but if you fancy taking it a step further then grab yourself some coconut water and pineapple juice and give the following to drinks a try.<\/p>\n

First off, I tried the\u00a0C\u00ceROC Colada Remix\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– 1.5 oz. C\u00eeroc Summer Colada<\/p>\n

– Fresh pineapple juice<\/p>\n

– Ice<\/p>\n

Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Grab your favourite glass, if you have one of these pineapple ones then even better!<\/p>\n

– Add a few cubes of ice<\/p>\n

\"Ciroc<\/a><\/p>\n

– Pour in\u00a0C\u00eeroc Summer Colada or\u00a0use a jigger like this<\/a>\u00a0if you prefer to be exact<\/p>\n

\"Ciroc<\/a><\/p>\n

– Top up with pineapple juice<\/p>\n

\"Ciroc<\/a><\/p>\n

– Enjoy!<\/p>\n

My second long drink of choice was the\u00a0C\u00ceROC Colada Remix ft coconut <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This is another simple recipe but it really brings out the flavour of the vodka. From time to time I like to share recipes which don’t involve too many different ingredients. With both of these recipes you can pop to the shop for some fresh juice, knock together the drinks pretty quickly and sit back with your friends for the afternoon.<\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– 1.5 oz. C\u00eeroc Summer Colada<\/p>\n

– 1 part fresh pineapple juice<\/p>\n

– 1 part coconut water<\/p>\n

– Ice<\/p>\n

Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Add a few cubes of ice to your favourite glass<\/p>\n

– Pour in\u00a0C\u00eeroc Summer Colada or\u00a0use a jigger<\/a>\u00a0to be precise<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Add in coconut water ’til your glass is half full<\/p>\n
