The other month I shared my thoughts on\u00a0Raw Bean’s Coffee Bean Bags<\/a>. I really liked them and thought they were a simple and handy way to have a good quality cup of coffee on the go.<\/p>\n

Lyons recently sent over a box of their coffee bags<\/a>. I was excited\u00a0to give them a try and today I’m finally reporting back with my review.<\/p>\n

If you haven’t heard of coffee bags before the\u00a0idea might sound a little odd. You know how you use\u00a0teabags in place of loose leaf tea? Well, this is the same concept and when you think about it like that it makes a lot of sense.<\/p>\n

To use the coffee bags you just pop the bag into a cup, pour hot water over, leave it to brew for 4 mins or a little longer if you want it stronger and then enjoy. The\u00a0coffee bags are 100% compostable – YAY.<\/p>\n

These bags have a rich and full flavour, not at all bitter. I much prefer them to regular freeze-dried coffee\u00a0aka\u00a0<\/em>jar coffee.<\/p>\n

Now, like most people I love the process of making a coffee, just like I do with loose leaf tea. However, I don’t always have the time or equipment to hand to do it, especially when I’m at work. That’s where these handy little coffee bags come in. Lyons have packaged each of the coffee bags individually which makes them useful\u00a0to pop into your bag and transport.<\/p>\n

Coffee bags give you the option of enjoying a complex and delicious coffee without the hassle of using a pot.\u00a0There are many instances where you might find these coffee bags useful; at work, on a hike or when you’re in a rush in the morning.<\/p>\n
