What I forgot to tell you was that I spent\u00a0a good part of that week testing out new teas.\u00a0I love trying, testing and sharing new teas, especially when they&#8217;re from brands that are totally new to me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">One of the brands I&#8217;ve\u00a0<em>really\u00a0<\/em>been enjoying since that trip is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hooglytea.com\">Hoogly tea &#8211; pronounced &#8216;<strong><em>Hyggelig<\/em><\/strong><\/a>&#8216;. It\u00a0was founded by\u00a0Tina Gloggengieser who&#8217;s from Aarhus in Denmark but now lives in Brighton.\u00a0Hygge is a Danish word, it&#8217;s an\u00a0experience which gives the feeling of warmth, wellbeing and cosiness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a title=\"Hoogly Teabag\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/daisyhatami\/37411966965\/in\/photostream\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4448\/37411966965_067bf1ed9b_c.jpg\" alt=\"Hoogly Teabag\" width=\"800\" height=\"551\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n\u200bAll Hoogly teas are blended and packaged\u00a0here in the UK. They&#8217;re ethically sourced and fairly traded &#8211; it&#8217;s always good to hear this.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b\u200bI love the simplistic packaging of the tea, the markings on the boxes reminds me of the groves\u00a0you see on\u00a0a tree. The logo is simple but conveys a relaxing feeling.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Hoogly Tea Box\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/daisyhatami\/37269419061\/in\/photostream\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4409\/37269419061_3703566a51_c.jpg\" alt=\"Hoogly Tea Box\" width=\"800\" height=\"521\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I tried out 2 different blends from the brand &#8211;<em> Sparkling White<\/em> and <em>Chill Out Mint<\/em>, both of which were lovely teas.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Hoogly Prettygreentea\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/daisyhatami\/36559617374\/in\/photostream\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4339\/36559617374_985789a8ef_c.jpg\" alt=\"Hoogly Prettygreentea\" width=\"800\" height=\"546\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Hoogly Top Down\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/daisyhatami\/37269418241\/in\/photostream\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4467\/37269418241_2edef4907b_c.jpg\" alt=\"Hoogly Top Down\" width=\"800\" height=\"522\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><em>Sparkling White<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0has a\u00a0Chinese White Tea base. I&#8217;m not sure why, but I was originally expecting floral notes from this tea. However, the mix of apple pieces, lemongrass, ederflower and hibiscus create a real fruity flavour. The tea is a little tart, as you&#8217;d expect from a fruit tea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I really enjoyed this tea and found it perfect for drinking <em>without milk<\/em>\u00a0in the evening.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a title=\"Hoogly Tea Making\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/daisyhatami\/37269418821\/in\/photostream\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4348\/37269418821_6ae8e8293c_c.jpg\" alt=\"Hoogly Tea Making\" width=\"800\" height=\"547\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><em>Chill Out Mint\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>is a new favourite for me.\u00a0I&#8217;m a big fan of minty teas and this one did not disappoint. It&#8217;s a blend of <em>peppermint, spearmint, eucalyptus and pine needles<\/em>. I find it has a very refreshing and uplifting flavour and is ideal for drinking after meals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I love to support independent businesses.
