Summer officially started on the 21st June although the weather has been pretty grey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This summer I’ll be spending part of it in Sheffield and part in Cambridge. The same as I do every year. I like having the opportunity to spend time in Cambridge so I can see my family, visit friends and pop along to any blog related events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t have any holidays booked. I’ll be taking a few day trips to Brighton and Cambridge but that’s it. I’m thinking about a long weekend away on the Eurostar with P right at the end of summer. That’s a thought for another day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I plan to share a separate list of things I’d like to do with X this summer. So today’s list will be focused on me.<\/em> To be totally honest, it’s mostly about the things I’d like to eat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Crete<\/a>\n\n\n\n

Enjoy a glass of crisp white wine and homemade pizza in the garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take a day trip to Brighton with Pop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go on a long walk in the Peak District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pop to Gaard for an iced coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit Brighton with Phil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enjoy my first Aperol Spritz of the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit Mayfield Alpacas<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book myself onto a day bread making course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listen to an audiobook in the garden and soak up the sunshine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try a sorbet from Aromi in Cambridge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make a rhubarb crumble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eat fish and chips and a G&T on Southwold beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Explore Ecclesall Woods with Gemma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
