Better late than never, right?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Blue<\/a>\n\n\n\n

The month started in Sheffield with lots of sunshine and a clear sky. It was still quite chilly so I ordered X his first snowsuit, just to make sure he was extra warm when we went for a little daily walks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Family<\/a>\n\n\n\n

As you can imagine, my month was very much focused on newborn life. My grandma and aunt came to visit us and spoiled X with lots of books, tiny socks and rattles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\"My<\/a>\n\n\n\n

My birthday came and went pretty quickly. I opened presents in bed and had a relaxing day with my little baby. What more could I ask for?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Daily<\/a>\n\n\n\n

I took a lot of walks around the block throughout the month as part of my recovery process and to get baby X to sleep. I often had a Frappuccino in my cup holder on those walks. It’s probably a good job my local Starbucks wasn’t on Deliveroo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Shoe<\/a>\n\n\n\n

April was also the month we went to get baby boy officially named. It\u2019s such an old fashioned process. Before you name your baby they address all post from the hospital etc to \u2018Master Baby\u2019 – fantastic, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"PGT<\/a>\n\n\n\n

I think naming day was the first day I\u2019d been into the town too. We stopped by Starbucks (I told you I had a slight addiction to Frappuccinos) for coffee and to feed X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"PGT<\/a>\n\n\n\n

I spent a lot of time looking at my baby\u2019s hands this month. Look how tiny they were.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Peanut<\/a>\n\n\n\n\"Marmite<\/a>\n\n\n\n

I ate SO MANY Marmite Peanut Butter bagels in April. I couldn’t get enough of them and I’m sure we got through several jars of the stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Zizzi<\/a>\n\n\n\n

Towards the end of the month Phil\u2019s mum came to visit. We spent a few days together, X enjoyed falling asleep in his grandma\u2019s arms, we ate good food and watched Friday Night Dinner. It was such a lovely week and to top things off, we ended the trip with a delicious pizza at Zizzi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Oisoi<\/a>\n\n\n\n

We finally checked out the new Oisoi. It\u2019s now one of our favourite places to go for lunch. It\u2019s perfect if you\u2019re looking for a big and filling lunch. Also, the decor is gorgeous. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\"PGT<\/a>\n\n\n\n

Towards the end of the month I started to get out a little more. I think one of my first trips was with Gemma. We went to Birdhouse Cafe and had brunch and cake. Here I am feeding Xander, it was one of the first few times I’d fed him out and about. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\"PGT<\/a>\n\n\n\n

I also met Charlotte in Oisoi this month, here’s a photo she snapped of us. Our catch-ups are always long overdue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
