Hi, I’m Daisy and welcome to my little space on the Internet. I’m currently based\u00a0between Sheffield and Cambridge so you’ll see me talking about both cities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve been creating blogs since way back when Geocities was a <\/span>thing<\/span><\/i>, does anyone else remember that? About 8 years ago I decided to make the move from LiveJournal to Blogger and then finally onto WordPress. I\u2019ve been settled here ever since. <\/span><\/p>\n

Here on Prettygreentea I share my life, my loves and my travels. I’m always trying to learn and grow as a person and you’ll find that journey through posts like <\/span>30 before 30 fun goals<\/a>, How to save for your first deposit<\/a>, The Crab Bucket Theory <\/a><\/span><\/i>and Why I Turned Down a Job in NYC<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>I like to share stories and photos from my daily life, my style, the best places to eat and my love for city breaks. This blog is full of my experiences in life and I hope that they encourage you to live the life you choose.<\/span>

I\u2019ve never been one to long for a year-long backpacking trip. When I was younger I thought if I enjoyed travel then that was surely what I needed and should want to do. After all, that\u2019s what everyone around me was doing. However, as I\u2019ve grown and become self-employed and more aware of who I am I\u2019ve realised that yes, I do love travel but on my terms. So, you won\u2019t see me backpacking around the world for months on end but you will see me taking long weekend breaks to Budapest<\/a>, week-long trips to Italy<\/a> and Germany<\/a> and of course, long-haul flights for slightly longer trips to Tehran<\/a> and New York<\/a>. I love to travel, I love to explore a new city and experience the culture but I like to combine it with my work. For me, it’s\u00a0all about finding the right balance between a comfortable home base, flexible work and lots of city breaks. <\/span><\/p>\n

Prettygreentea is a positive space so you’ll only hear about the things I truly love and would recommended to my family and friends.<\/span><\/p>\n
