They offer around 8 different burgers with the addition of a veggie option and a special of the week.<\/p>\n The burgers are served in soft buns and come with lots of salad and a side of potato wedges. The restaurant has an upbeat atmosphere and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you can’t eat certain foods or simply want to omit or add them to your burger then make sure you ask. The staff are more than happy to make sure the burger is exactly how you want it.<\/p>\n Location:\u00a01072 Budapest, Ak\u00e1cfa utca 45<\/a><\/p>\n – Local Korner<\/a>\u00a0– This is a tiny little takeaway pizza place, not a restaurant. If you ring in advance you can book one of the 2 tables available. Alternatively, if you’re in the city during the summer months then you could take your pizza away and\u00a0find a scenic spot to sit. The pizzas are huge<\/em> <\/strong>and ideal for sharing but I’m pretty sure that you can order a\u00a0single slice too.<\/p>\n I really enjoyed being able to design my own pizza. You\u00a0can pick from a regular or wholegrain base, top it with tomato, BBQ or garlic and sour cream and then\u00a0decide which toppings you want to add.\u00a0The staff were friendly, helpful and very passionate about their business. One of the walls had a map on and it was fun to see that people from all over the world had visited this tiny little pizza shop in Budapest.<\/p>\n Location:\u00a0Budapest, Szondi u. 19, 1067 Hungary<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n – Apostolok<\/a>\u00a0– Here you will find\u00a0typical Hungarian food. The restaurant is beautiful and full of history. As soon as you step into the restaurant there’s a band playing relaxing music. All of the tables are very private as they’re nestled within wooden\u00a0booths among the church-like interior. Even if you just pop in for a drink make sure you have a walk around the restaurant.<\/p>\n I highly recommend trying the Goulash, it was full of flavour and perfect on a cold evening. If you a fancy a cocktail they do a very good\u00a0Pina Colada. E and I had a couple eac.<\/p>\n Location:\u00a01052 Budapest, K\u00edgy\u00f3 utca 4-6<\/a><\/p>\n – Halaszbastya\u00a0<\/a>– If you happen to be in the city during the autumn or winter months then you’ll be thankful of a hot chocolate after your long walk up to Fisherman’s Bastion. I don’t normally pick hot chocolate but this turned out to be one of the best I’ve ever had.\u00a0I didn’t try the food but the selection of cakes looked good.<\/p>\n The views from Halaszbastya over Pest are quite something.\u00a0We spent a good hour relaxing, chatting and enjoying our hot chocolates\u00a0overlooking the city.<\/p>\n Location:\u00a0Budapest, Szenth\u00e1roms\u00e1g t\u00e9r, 1014 Hungary<\/a><\/p>\n Photo by twfx<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n Photo by twfx<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n – Funnel cake (K\u00fcrt\u0151skal\u00e1cs) – These are soft dough wrapped into a funnel shape with a crispy crust. You know you’ve got a good one when it pulls-apart with ease. You can buy these sugary treats all over the city so I’m not going to give you one specific place to go to. My main tip is to make sure it’s warm because they taste much better when they’re fresh.
