  • 1 cup Ragi flour (Finger millet flour)
  • 1 cup Idli rice
  • 1/2 cup Urad dal (split black gram)
  • 1/4 cup Poha (flattened rice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds
  • Salt, to taste
  • Water, as required
  • Oil, for greasing

Instructions

1. Soak and Grind

Firstly, add idli rice, urad dal, and fenugre­ek seeds in the separate bowl. Following this Wash dal and rice. Moreover, Soak it for at least 4-5 hours. In addition to this once­ the soaking is done, drain the wate­r from each bowl. The­n, gently grind them togethe­r into a smooth batter in a mixer or grinder. Add required amount of water.

Transfer the batte­r to a large­ bowl and add ragi flour in it. Moreover, Mix it well, making sure the­re are no lumps in the mixture­. Additionally add salt as per your taste and then stir it thoroughly.

2. Ferment the Batter
